Strange one this... when I first played this game by Richard Bayliss, I wasn't at all impressed with the game play. Then, I decided to play through to obtain the ending, but I found the game far too hard. So, being the total cheat that I am, I used my Action Replay Cartridge to turn off the sprite collision, and I speeded up the game a little using an emulator. The thing is, the game played so much better and was so much more fun! I could now run through the walls but I still had to dodge the aliens. 

RESULT! So after faffing around and playing through all 16 level, I got to the ending screen to find that the hi-res picture had corrupted. Was it because I had been playing around with the code? A quick email to Richard Bayliss confirmed that the original game file that he supplied on the Net wasn't displaying the end screen correctly, and he kindly corrected the fault and sent in the ending. Another result!
